Case Studies
Manufacturing Institute (MI)
Engagement: Envoy has been working with the Manufacturing Institute (MI) to support its Second Chance Employment Initiative since early 2021. MI is the workforce and education arm of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and leads content and programming to meet the needs of its 14,000 member companies.
Results: Envoy has supported MI in strategy, content development, direct engagement and knowledge-building for members by building tools and learning resources to meet stated goals from manufacturers to build a broader and more accessible workforce.
Second Chance Business Coalition (SCBC)
Engagement: The Second Chance Business Coalition is a network of 45 large employers committed to expanding opportunity for job seekers with past convictions. Envoy has provided strategic and programmatic support to the coalition since its founding in 2021. Among Envoy's contributions has been the development of the Community Partners Map and the Onramps Guide.
Results: Since its founding the SCBC has grown its membership by 50% and tens of thousands of users have explored and downloaded its web-based resources. Envoy continues to partner with the SCBC to build open-source tools and content, lead programming and provide subject-matter expertise.
